Dear Friend,
For twelve years I had the high honor of serving as Montana’s Attorney General. As one of only two Attorneys General to serve for three terms, I know what it takes to protect Montana’s children, seniors, and middle class.
Jesse Laslovich has what it takes.
As Attorney General, I know Jesse will continue to protect our access to public lands, rivers, and streams; I know Jesse will continue his work to protect seniors from scam artists; and I know Jesse will continue to crack down on sexual predators.
Jesse was a successful legislator who always put what was best for Montana first. As a state Representative and Senator, Jesse put tougher DUI laws on the books, was instrumental in the establishment of mental health courts, and pushed through legislation protecting Montana’s children from abuse.
As a former legislator, I know how important my legislative experience was to my job as the Attorney General. Jesse’s 10 years of experience in the Montana Legislature will be invaluable to Montanans when he is Attorney General. Jesse’s success as a legislator is evidenced by the numerous current and former legislators who join me in supporting Jesse to become our next Attorney General.
Not only is Jesse an accomplished legislator, he’s also a successful and experienced criminal prosecutor. Jesse prosecuted the longest Madoff-style Ponzi scheme in Montana’s history, has returned millions of dollars to scammed Montanans, and has worked to keep dangerous criminals behind bars.
It’s for these reasons that I enthusiastically endorse Jesse Laslovich for Attorney General.
Jesse is simply the best person for the job. He has the unmatched experience, drive, and judgment to be an effective Attorney General for all Montanans.
Please take a moment to see who else is endorsing and supporting Jesse Laslovich. His backing is diverse and indicative of what kind of an Attorney General he will be. Legislators, colleagues, prosecutors, city officials, conservationists, activists, and union leaders are all getting behind Jesse Laslovich because they know he’ll make an extraordinary Attorney General.
